KUIX Inline TextField

Hi,

We are trying a registration page with all the text (6+) fields in it. However, my client though he feels good about the view rich ness which kuix could give, he is feeling uncomfortable on edit as it is taking to text field of the phone..

Would KUIX consider for having a text fields with in line edit, like in the skype.. It may be worth adding this feature in near feature.. else the applications which depend most on forms may look bit uneasy due to lack of inline edit.

Pl. consider this if this makes sense to kind of applications you are positiong the kuix.

I know tht the inline way is the best way and simplest for user. But as describe in a other topic, implementing such text input, oblige to create a ccorect key mapping wich is not standardised ;(

I understand the tradeoff.. we do the following in our products we delivar to our clients.. We don't have a single binary build for all the devices.. but do have single source for all the devices.. This way we have a different binaries build from single source.. and during the build time some of the keycodes and device specific code changes happen..

Some thing similar to j2mepolish.. but we are different that we don't have a preprocessing logic as it makes IDE adoption and development very difficult.

Kindly see if you could explore more options which makes kuix adoptablity in form based apps..
